The short version: I only collect what you type into the contact form, I use it solely to reply to you, and I never sell it. The details are below.
Data controller
Nicklaz Lentz is the data controller for nicklazlentz.com. If you have questions about this policy or about your data, write to contact@nicklazlentz.com.
What data I collect
This site has no login and no user accounts. The only personal data collected is what you choose to submit through the contact form: your name and e-mail address, and optionally your company, current website, service interest, budget range and message.
For security and operations, the server may briefly register technical information such as your IP address - for example to limit spam submissions. This information is not used to identify you.
Why I collect it
I use your information for one thing: reading and answering your enquiry, and discussing a potential collaboration with you. I do not send marketing e-mails or newsletters, and your details are never used for anything else.
Legal basis
Processing is based on the consent you give when submitting the contact form (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)) and on my legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
Sharing and data processors
Your data is never sold, and never shared with third parties for marketing. The website runs on a hosting provider that processes data on my behalf as a data processor, solely for operating the site.
How long I keep it
Enquiry data is kept for up to 12 months after our last contact, and is then deleted. You can ask me to delete it earlier at any time.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can at any time request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. You can also withdraw your consent, restrict processing, or request data portability - just write to contact@nicklazlentz.com.
If you believe your data is being handled incorrectly, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet).
Cookies and local storage
This site uses no tracking cookies and no analytics, and sets no third-party cookies. The only thing stored in your browser is a single local setting remembering your light/dark theme choice - it never leaves your device.
